WHAT IS GP(R)?
Our platform revolutionizes the group practice landscape by building a foundation of inherent belongingness, grounded business acumen, and relational consciousness resulting in a culture of connection between group practice owners and employees. By centering values like abundance, authenticity, liberation, compassion, and commitment to self-growth GP(R) helps you walk the walk, not just talk the talk.
Healthy, rewarding group practices are possible, but power dynamics and workplace challenges can leave employees feeling exploited and owners overworked. Group Practice (R)evolution provides an inspired, supportive community bridging the gap between owners and employees.
Group Practice (R)evolution offers crucial resources for transforming your group practice experience:
- Consultation hotline for guidance
- Monthly support groups for owners and employees
- Exclusive podcast exploring innovation in group practice
- Educational webinars to increase business acumen and navigate workplace dynamics
- Online community fostering connection and support
About Sarah
Sarah is an experienced therapist and former group practice owner. In late 2013, she founded Head/Heart Therapy and began expanding her team in 2015. Navigating the complexities of group practice ownership presented unexpected challenges, offering deep insights into both business management and personal growth.
In 2023, after a successful tenure, Sarah sold Head/Heart Therapy to her trusted colleague, Rayell Grayson. This transition marked a pivotal moment, inspiring Sarah to focus on consulting for other practice owners. Through her consulting work, Sarah realized the importance of addressing the needs of both practice owners and employees to foster truly connected and sustainable workplaces.
Sarah’s initiative, GP(R), is dedicated to bridging the gap between practice owners and their staff. By centering in belonging and relationships, GP(R) helps create environments where everyone can thrive and grow together and ultimately better support our clients.

Values That Drive Group Practice
(
) evolution
GP(R) is a values-driven community rooted in inherent belongingness and relational consciousness while attending to factors that maintain business viability. These underlying values are the foundation upon which we build thriving work environments. Whether you live these values in your daily life or simply aspire to them, GP(R) can support your journey.
Abundance
- We believe there's an abundance of clients for everyone. Instead of competing with other therapists or practices, we focus on identifying our ideal clients and referring out when necessary.
- Being a therapist or practice owner is a calling. We aim to maintain a healthy relationship with money, understanding that financial stability and success is a natural result of doing our best work.
Commitment to Self-Work
- We recognize that we become better therapists, employees, and practice owners by addressing and healing our own wounds.
- When faced with external challenges, we practice introspection and accountability to understand and heal our internal struggles.
Curiosity
- We have a deep desire to learn from others with different perspectives.
- We see conflict as an opportunity for growth and learning, not necessarily as a problem.
Compassion
- We assume positive intent from others and strive to provide constructive feedback rather than criticism or judgment.
- We honor the humanity of all individuals while reflecting on power dynamics and our role within them.
Authenticity
- We practice what we preach, both within and outside of our group practice role and our role as a therapist.
- We aim to maintain integrity by consistent embodiment of our values.
Courage
- When conflicts arise, we commit to uncovering the unmet feelings and needs at their core.
- We proactively address potential harm by providing constructive feedback and offering solutions whenever possible.
Liberation
- We actively strive to dismantle systems of oppression within ourselves and our communities.
- Labor of workers and owners is honored as an offering to improve the lives of others, not as a commodity to be bought and sold.
Revolutionary
- We dream of workplaces that honor the humanity of every individual and contribute to the evolution of the field at large.
- We envision and strive to create wholehearted workplaces that are yet to be realized.
